Open Studios This Weekend and Next!
This
week I have been going through the house cleaning and hanging tones
paintings for Northcoast Open Studios. Many artists will open their
studios all over Humboldt County! My studio is at 1885 Zehndner Ave. in
Arcata, we'll be open from 11am to 5:00pm June 1,2 and 8,9. Come drop by
and keep me company!

Sarah Marina modeled at our figurative painting group recently. As an artist in her own right, she had many ideas in her head of what we could do. She brought many props and we worked out this pose. It was fun to have a complete scene mapped out in front of me to paint. It was a bit like engaging the creative mind of another artist.
