"Loleta View" oil painting by Andrew Daniel

"Loleta View" oil painting on wood panel
6" x 10" (15cm x 25cm) by Andrew Daniel
available in my online shop

It's not hard to find a beautiful vantage point to paint from in Loleta California. The landscape is so expansive and the colors of the fields and mountains so harmonious, the problem is often, how do I choose what beauty to fit in and what to leave out! By focusing on these foreground trees, this painting has a sense of depth in that the distant farm buildings show up as tiny dots comparatively.

    1. Thank you Leovi! So nice of you to drop by. I've been really into trying to depict the different textures I'm seeing with the paint. Creates a whole new set of challenges...
