"Portrait of Julie Haga" by Andrew Daniel
20" x 16" oil on canvas board
In the collection of Earl Haga
When my friend's mother passed last year, I was asked to do this
portrait, to be displayed at the funeral. It was so touching to be part
of the communities grieving process. I was honored to be asked to do it.
It felt like one of the more important paintings of my career, in that
it helped people to feel as if she was still there with them.
